ANOTHER CREATION (September 10, 2000)

Lauren is reading a book by some Tibetan Buddhist master and is apparently feeling blessed by her emerging awareness of and love for the creation entire. Minus me, that is. Judging by her behavior toward me, I must hail from another creation, a distinct and separate world with which there cannot be any but accidental contact. This is hardly surprising, for she is now in love with another man, who most likely gave her the book in question. What is surprising, though, is that she cannot see that her cold eyes, her harsh voice, and her frigid touch are of the creation she now embraces as her very own.
