On my way to the office I saw a van with Van Gogh’s name in big lettering on its side. I wondered what a company under that name could be selling. As it turned out, it was a van and car rental company. A great name, too. After all, the Impressionist painter’s last name is pronounced in English rather like the upbeat word “go.”
