HONESTLY! (August 31, 2000)
Busy, busy, busy… In addition to my routine professorial duties, including the directorship of two master’s courses and dissertation supervision in both master’s and doctoral programs, I am coordinating a sizeable international conference, which will take place in a couple of weeks in Reading, to be followed by a five-day module of a master’s course for high-flyers in the business world, also in Reading, to be followed in turn by a keynote address at the annual conference in Bristol of an international company with headquarters in London. And all this before the next academic term begins in October. The only good thing about being so busy is that I have less time to molest the hapless denizens of the art world. I feel a great deal of compassion for them. I do, honestly!
