HOW INFLUENTIAL IS THE JACKDAW? (October 31, 2000)

Nicholas Logsdail of Lisson Gallery was among the regular recipients of my postcards for a while. Since I began using electronic mail, and since I got Logsdail’s electronic-mail address, I dropped him from the list of those who receive my postcards by post, as well. Having read the last issue of The Jackdaw (No. 3, November 2000), which arrived in today’s mail, I changed my mind again. As soon as I read that Lisson and Tate Galleries have become so close that the boundary between the two is becoming blurred, I scribbled a note for myself into my notebook: “Move Logsdail back to front burner.” That is how influential is The Jackdaw.
