If anyone ever asked me, like Charles Saatchi purportedly asked Damien Hirst, what would I do if I had the means to do whatever I wanted to do, I would never think of a shark in a tank. Or anything else, for that matter. I would answer that I already had all the means to do what I wanted to do. Would my answer be different from Damien’s because of the difference of our means or ends?
