SNOWBALLING (March 9, 2007)

At long last, a couple of local newspapers have published my warning about smog in Istria. As is usually the case with such things, dead silence is followed by excessive interest. My phones are ringing. Messages are piling up on my computer. As I write, television crews from several channels are rolling my way. The story is snowballing already. The moral? One should learn to appreciate the many sweet virtues of dead silence.
