TWO SALADS (June 17, 2007)

A fat man and his thin wife are contemplating their lunch in a Motovun restaurant. They are studying the menu for quite a while. In the end, they order two salads and a bottle of mineral water. As well as a load of bread and butter for the poor husband. At any rate, this appears to be the wife’s day. One in a hundred, I reckon. Or maybe two. If not even three, if I look a bit more closely. For he is nearly thrice her size.
