WITH EVERY MUSCLE IN MY BODY (January 9, 2007)

Two days ago I felt the first symptoms of a cold. Yesterday it hit me pretty hard. Today I feel a bit better, but only a bit. Tomorrow should be the last day of the cold, but I would not bet on it. Judging by the way I have felt so far, this one seems to be pretty serious. At any rate, I have been sneezing a lot. And how! Whenever I feel it coming, I get myself ready for a real blast. If I can, I get up. I loosen my muscles a little. And then I deliver the sneeze with every muscle in my body. I sneeze like an ogre, letting a shower of infected saliva get as far from me as possible. And then I laugh like an ogre, too. My sneezing looks kind of funny, I am sure, but my laughter is aimed at this miserable bug, instead. I let it fly far and wide, which is how it is supposed to get from one victim to another, but there is no-one around me to catch the cold. I am all alone, see?
